What Christmas means to me...

I'm well-aware of the real meaning of Christmas, shop til you drop and see how many useless gifts you can give and receive, and I've even heard some people say it's a religious holiday.

Chez moi, my personal belief is that Christmas is a time to eat. And to eat well. So in the spirit of Christmas, I thought I'd share with you some of my favorite French Christmas food.

Don't worry, I'm sure the following recipe is incredibly low in fat.

I love, love, love foie gras. I've started to stock up and have two different ones already. Last year, my husband made a sautée of mangoes and foie gras...

Yum, mangoes and foie gras, sounds delicious! I had my favorite starter again at the restaurant Les Compagnies de Comptoir in Beziers last week, Crème Brulée de Foie Gras, imagine smooth foie gras with a caramelized hard topping....
