Dingue Dingue Dingue
Number 1 on the French charts this week, Christophe Maé, with Dingue Dingue Dingue (Crazy, Crazy, Crazy). Bit middle of the road, but not too painful. I actually quite like his voice, but probably not everyone's cup of tea....

I like it - sounds a bit like Tracy Chapman. Can you please tell me what radio station you listen to here in France? I really need to listen more for my french but I can never find one I like...but I seem to like all the music you post! Any advice??
Hi Penny,
Yes, his voice does sound a bit like Tracy Chapman! It certainly is one of those distinct voices that you either love or hate!
As far as radio stations go, I tend to listen to a mix, either Nostalgie, for sing along songs, or either NRJ, Skyrock, or Fun radio for the newer stuff. I'm one of those really annoying radio surfers that changes the station for each song!lol
Thanks I will check those out! My oldest is growing up fast - I don't want to be the uncool mum who only listens to 80s music!
:-)
I was surprised to rather like this song when I heard it the first time. I find Mahé a fun performer and he's not too mediatic. But I'm sick to death of "C'est ma terre".
Hi Dedene,
yes, they do tend to overplay him a little bit. It's usually the artist of choice at my local Intermarche as well!lol
I like him and I like this video :)
Hi Meredith- Do your girls like him? He's not really my two's cup of tea....
I actually like him a lot - ever since I saw him in Le Roi Soleil a few years ago... He's adorable, too.. a really "little" guy with a cute southern accent!!! I'm going to see him in concert this year in Paris...
Take care,
Leesa
Hi Leesa,
He's playing down here soon, too. Might have to check him out. I like his voice, but I'm not sure I could handle 2 hours of it!lol
My girls-9 and 12-love him and sing this song all the time!
