New books on France in March...
As a Francophile working in a bookshop in England for almost 5 years, I've got an awful lot of books on France on my shelves- history, travel guides, memoirs, cookbooks, interiors, fiction set in France, you name it, I've probably got it.
But that was almost 10 years ago and I'm a little out of the loop now on new books on France. So I thought I'd start a little monthly series here on books that have just come out that look interesting. Some might have just come out in paperback, but for the most part, they should be brand new titles. Feel free to add to the list if you know of any I haven't mentioned and let me know if you read any of them; tell me what you thought!

Discovery of France by Graham Robb.
It's an unusal history, mainly from the working Frenchman's point of view.
He cycled round France in order to write it.

My friend, Jamie Cat Callan, wrote French Women Don't Sleep Alone. It is a great look at how French women work in relationship. It is a great book and I don't say that just because she is my friend, it really is.
