From Simone to Carla...

It isn't easy making a smooth transition from Simone de Beauvoir to Carla Bruni Sarkozy. What do they have in common? Being one of the most talked about women of France? Promiscuity? A way with words? Hmmm, not sure about the last one.

Anyway, the First lady of France has a new album coming out this month, apparently, called 'You Are My Drug', in which she sings about, amongst other things, drugs and her past 30 lovers (Mick? Eric?).

I wonder what the conversation would have been like between Simone and Carla. Had they been alive and sexually active during the same time frame, might they have shared the same lover at one point or another?
