Now I understand....

the need for neon lights.

It's not often here in the sunny south of France that I complain about greyness.
When we lived in Paris I got used to everything taking on one grey hue when the sky was overcast.

But today, from the sky to the pavement, from the houses to the people, all I'm seeing is grey. Where has all the color gone?

I always get so confused this time of year. Do I need to wear my coat? Do I need to put the ladies' hats on? Is it Spring? Why are the tulips out already? The central heating system doesn't know if it's coming or going.

I know it's all relative. If we were still living in Toronto, I'd be scraping frost off my car with my video club card while wearing snow boots and a fur-lined hat.

But come on already with the sun.......

It has been years since you have been in Toronto at the end of March. With the exception of this year, I am wearing shorts and sandles by the first week of April!
